Destiny Adult Day Center opened in March 1, 2022. We are a contracted Adult Day Services
Provider through the Illinois Department on Aging We are a new program of Destiny Healthcare
Services which has been in business for 13 years, providing Home Health and Homecare
services for Older Adults.
We provide the following services:
- Recreational Activities
- Socialization
- Lunch and Snacks
- Daily exercise
- Health monitoring
- Medication supervision
Yes, we do provide assistance as needed with ambulation and transfers, personal care needs
such as toileting, assistance during with meals with set-up and prompting as needed.
Our team will provide a safe environment that ensures just the right amount of assistance is provided while respectfully allowing for as much independence possible.
We provide a variety of fun activities such as Music, Art, Crafts, Table and Active Games,
Discussion Groups and Travelogues. Our Activity Coordinator creates a new activity calendrer
each month, she reviews a leisure survey with each new client and she holds a discussion group
with the clients monthly to gather suggestions for programs.
Clients with physical and or cognitive impairments will enjoy the health benefits of engaging in
meaningful social and recreational activities in a safe, supervised, and caring environment.
